It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at the 2010 AACB and AIMS Combined Scientific Meeting in Perth, Western Australia. The Combined Scientific Meeting is the premier event on the scientific calendar for both associations. This year, the combined event promises to be bigger and better than ever. 

The theme is “Medical Science: Locally & Globally” to reflect the challenges facing the profession today and in the future. What better location to explore this theme than Western Australia, Australia's largest state geographically with a small population spread across the vast expanse of land, all requiring 21st century medical care? With this in mind, the Scientific Committees have gathered together an outstanding program of local and international speakers addressing diverse topics from ageing, quality and technology through to patient outcomes and the increasing role of consumers in managing their own health care. 

Alongside the scientific program a substantial trade display by leading diagnostic companies will showcase the latest products and services available to support medical science locally and globally. Complementing the scientific program and the trade display is an exciting social program for everyone to enjoy.
